Who We Are

At The Trauma Consulting, Training, and Clinical Services Center (TCTCS), we provide trauma-informed counseling, consulting, and training to support healing, resilience, and empowerment for individuals, couples, families, communities, and professionals.

What is Trauma?

Trauma refers to distressing or overwhelming experiences that leave a lasting impact on an individual’s emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. While everyone encounters challenges throughout life, the way we experience and respond to them can vary greatly. What feels manageable to one person may feel overwhelming to another. At TCTCS, we recognize trauma in its many forms—including but not limited to physical, emotional, and psychological abuse; sexual violence and harassment; domestic violence; attachment wounds from childhood or adolescence; divorce and/or the loss of significant relationships; sudden loss or tragic events; racism, sexism, and homophobia; natural disasters; medical diagnoses and procedures; postpartum challenges; bullying; elder abuse; and other painful experiences. No matter the source or size of the trauma, healing is possible with the right support.

Our Mission

At TCTCS, our mission is to build a more trauma-informed and trauma-resilient world. We believe in the strength and capacity of individuals, couples, families, and communities to heal and thrive after trauma. Our commitment is to expand awareness, knowledge, and access to trauma-informed care, equipping both providers and survivors with the tools they need to prevent harm, respond effectively, and foster lasting recovery. Guided by compassion, empowerment, and inclusivity, we stand beside every person on their journey toward resilience and hope.
